Śavāsana
Yogic Death for Immortality
April 18th
We all love Śavāsana as the yogi nap at the end of class, but did you know napping is not the point? In this one-of-a-kind workshop we will explore how mythology, classical references, and other concepts of yoga intertwine beautifully to give this posture new life!
We will break down āsana with a practice designed to enhance our ability to rest deeply, and end with an extended śavāsana designed to give you a powerful feel for its fullest potential. Come learn why as sādhakas (students of yoga) we practice dying at the end of each class and how this practice can lead us to immortality.
Mālā Making Workshop!
April 19th
Mālā’s or garlands are spiritual tools often used in the West as a reminder of our Divine intentions. These tools are more traditionally used with mantra to create change and eliminate karma for the sādhakas (students of yoga). Come intuitively choose your own stones, giggle with community, and learn more as you make our own mālā!
